WITH THE elimination round nearing its end, the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars and the University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors stake their claim for the last two twice-to-beat bonuses when they go up against separate opponents today in the 13th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. men’s basketball tournament at the USC gym.

USJ-R faces off against the winless University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers at 4:30 pm while USC takes on the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters.

Both the Jaguars and the Warriors are tied for third place in the standings with identical records of 2-2 (win-loss) and are in hot pursuit of the third and fourth seeds which come with a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
