Thieves break into Makati bike shop

MANILA, Philippines — A still undetermined amount of cash was stolen when suspected thieves allegedly broke into a motorcycle shop in Makati City early Friday, police said.

Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban Jr. , Makati police chief said, the Honda motorcycle shop along JP Rizal in Barangay ( village) Olympia in Makati City was robbed by still unidentified suspects this morning.

He said, however, that auditing was still ongoing as of posting time to determine the amount of cash and mtorcycles stolen.

“Pero maliit lang na shop ito. Hindi ito yung Honda Philippines. Nag- carryover lang ito ng pangalan ng Honda,” Lukban said.

Lukban said the suspects gained entry after destroying the shop’ s padlock.

” Wala kasing nagbabantay doon pag gabi, ” Lukban said, adding that the management only discovered the robbery this Friday morning.
