Titans finish elims on a streak
THE PAREF-Springdale Titans logged two consecutive wins to close out their elimination round campaign in style in the 1st Private Schools Developmental League over at the Springdale gym in barangay. Lahug.
The Titans first took care of Cebu Cherish School, 38-31, last Thursday before finishing off their stint in the elimination round with another squeaker, this time a 66-60 victory that pushed their win-loss record to 6-1.
The loss was Mt. Olives’ first in the tournament for a 5-1 record.
Mt. Olives recovered and blasted St. Pauls, 70-52, dropping the latter their sixth loss in as many games.
San Isidro also remained in hot pursuit as they kept St. Francis from the win column, 86-45. The victory was their fourth win in five matches.
In other results, the Center for International Education drowned St. Pauls, 56-36, for their second win in five games. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
