Duterte attends Sara’s birthday celebration in Davao

DAVAO CITY – President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday evening showed up at the 40th birthday celebration of her daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Accompanied by Special Assistant to the President Christopher Go, the President arrived past 8 p.m.

The President was greeted with a smack on the lips by his former wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, who then sat between him and Sara.

A city official described the celebration as “simple and intimate.”

The President’s sons – resigned Davao vice mayor Paolo and youngest child Sebastian – were also present. /ee
