Children who got injected with the Dengvaxia vaccine can now avail themselves of a “one-stop shop  express lane” in public and private hospitals exclusively for Dengvaxia recipients.

The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday signed an agreement with hospital groups to create the express lane to prioritize Dengvaxia recipients who would need hospitalization.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said it was a “confidence-building” measure in response to clamor by parents of children who were injected with the controversial antidengue vaccine. —Julie M. Aurelio
