Philippine National Police Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Friday assured inmates at New Bilibid Prison of a “comfortable” life once he takes over as Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) chief next year.

That is, if they will be well-behaved, he said. “I will make your life very easy and comfortable. For the drug lords, I will make your life miserable.

If you would continue trafficking drugs, you better start praying,” Dela Rosa said, two days after President Duterte announced plans to appoint him as the next BuCor chief after he retires from the PNP in January.
