A man with a gun and a grenade on Friday held hostage his live-in partner in their home in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
Police investigators said the armed man, who still remained unidentified as of this posting, seized his partner at gunpoint inside the house at the Blessed Ville Subdivision, Barangay Sampaloc II, Dasmarinas.
In a radio report over DZBB, the hostage drama started at around 4 a.m. The radio report said that aside from the woman, another unidentified person was also taken hostage.
The Dasmarinas police public information office confirmed the hostage incident, which is still ongoing. JPV/rga
