LUCENA CITY—Police arrested five persons for reportedly engaging in illegal gambling through drag racing in San Francisco town in Quezon province on Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.
A report from the Quezon police said the suspects – Paolo Bayla, 18; Joenel Lorbes, 20; Kien Darnell Sebuc, 21; Christian Ampeloquio, 25; and Mark Granada, 25 – were arrested in Barangay (village) Busdak Tuesday after residents informed policemen of their activity.
Police seized five motorcycles and P5,400 in bet money from the suspects. RJLA
