4 hurt as van, trike collide in Isabela

NAGUILIAN, Isabela — Four people were hurt when a tricycle collided with a van at the Naguilian bridge on Tuesday night (Feb. 7).

The van overtook another vehicle when it crashed into the tricycle, injuring its driver, Jay-ar Tuppal, and his passengers, Jun Baddungun, Charles Bautista and Dennis Afalla, all of Reina Mercedes town, said Senior Insp. Francisco Dayag, Naguilian police chief.

They are being treated at the Governor Faustino Dy Sr. Memorial Hospital in Ilagan City.

Van driver Rodito Salvador, 57, of Ilagan City, surrendered to the police.  SFM
