Heavy rains that caused major flashfloods and landslides in the Visayas and Mindanao recently will continue on Friday, the state weather bureau warned.

“Moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides will be experienced over the regions of Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Davao and Northern Mindanao,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its forecast for Friday. —DONA Z.
