A bill promoting the rights of caregivers and establishing policies to protect them from abuse has passed the committee level at the House of Representatives.

The House committee on labor and employment chaired by Cagayan Rep. Randolph Teng approved the proposed “Caregivers Welfare Act” for plenary deliberations at a hearing before the holiday break. TVJ
