The Sandiganbayan has sentenced former Panglao, Bohol mayor Doloreich Dumaluan to up to 10 years in prison for refusing to issue a zoning clearance to a resort operator over a parcel of land that he claimed belonged to him.
In a 25-page decision, the antigraft court’s Special Third Division said Dumaluan violated the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act for refusing to act on the Bohol Beach Club’s application for a locational clearance without sufficient justification.
