CEBU CITY – A security guard was killed after he was hit by a dump truck along the South Coastal Road near Barangay Tangke in Talisay City on Friday dawn.
The victim was identified as Floro Lagahit, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Talisay City and an employee of Pioneer Security Agency. Based on their investigation, PO1 Carlos Dicdican said Lagahit was driving his motorcycle when the latter stumbled hit a piece of wood along the street.
Lagahit, he said, was thrown off his motorcycle and was hit by the dump truck.
Dicdican said they have yet to identify the truck driver who immediately left the place, leaving the vehicle, after the incident.
