SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela—A police officer was arrested on Friday night after he was caught inside a suspected shabu den in Mabini village here, police said.
SPO1 Roque Mallillin, 51, a member of the Cauayan City police, was arrested with a companion, identified only as “Amang,” according to PO3 Romar Acebo, who is investigating the case.
Sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine) were seized at ‘Amang’s’ place.
Mallillin tested positive in a drug test conducted last week by the Cauayan police, but the arrested police officer denied dealing shabu, saying he was simply visiting his friend.
