Suspected drug lord Alvaro Alvaro alias “Barok” on Wednesday is under the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) head office in Manila.
Alvaro yielded before the NBI Central Visayas Office after he surrendered last Tuesday before the NBI-Bohol four days after he escaped from a police shootout that killed another alleged drug lord named Jeffrey “Jaguar” Diaz.

From Bohol, he was brought to the NBI Central Visayas Office and was transported to Manila.
NBI Anti-Illegal Drugs Division Chief Joel Tovera said Alvaro arrived in Manila Tuesday evening.
Alvaro is currently being subjected to further investigation. RAM
