GALLERY: Inside 4 of largest polling precincts in Metro Manila
Filipinos exercised their civic duty as the country held national and local elections on Monday.
Registered voters trooped to the polling precincts, some as early 6 a.m when the voting opened, to cast their choice for the next president and other posts in both national and local government.
Voters scampered to find precinct numbers — a usual scene during elections — then waited under the heat of the sun for their turn to vote. Marshals were available to assist some of the voters.
INQUIRER.net visited the areas with the largest number of registered voters in Metro Manila: President Corazon Aquino Elementary School and Commonwealth Elementary School in Quezon City, Nagpayong Elementary School in Pasig City and Rosario Almario Elementary School in Manila City.
