A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck 78 kilometers northwest of Garchitorena, Camarines Sur at 3:43 am, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Nueva Ecija, meanwhile was jolted by a 3.8 magnitude quake that centered 6 km northwest of Ambaguio. It occurred at a shallow depth of 2 km.
Small tremors also occurred in Tingloy, Batangas (2.1 magnitude) and in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro (2.4 magnitude).
There were no reports of damage or injury from the quakes.
