The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has decided to postpone the schedule for printing of the final ballots to February 8.

Comelec chairman Andres Bautista announced in a televised press conference that the en banc decided to move the schedule from the original February 1 date.

Commissioner Christian Robert Lim said that it was with “a heavy heart” that the full commission announced the decision.

Lim said that the poll body’s target to finish the printing is on April 25.

However, the Comelec will still push through with the printing of the ballots for the manual voting for the local and overseas absentee voters. AJH
