SENATOR Grace Poe welcomed Senator Miriam Defensor- Santiago’s entry into the presidential race, saying she is smart and qualified for the post.
“Sya po ay magaling at kwalipikado,” Poe told reporters on Thursday.
Asked if Santiago would be a threat to her presidential bid, Poe simply said: “Mas maraming pagpipilian.”
Poe also welcomed the presidential bid of defeated senatorial bet Rizalito David, who is seeking her disqualification from the Senate.
“Karapatan naman nya iyon, hindi ko sya ipapa-disqualify,” she said.
