Nonstop rains drench Metro Manila anew on a rush hour

WATERY WALK Commuters choose to wade through floodwaters rather than be trapped in buses and other public transport immobilized by fast-rising waters after a sudden heavy downpour in suburban Manila on Tuesday night. Netizens took to social media their rants on the heavy vehicular traffic, floods and the continuous heavy downpour punctuated with thunder and lightning.

It said the weather condition would persist in the next two hours.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms would prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, Pagasa said in its bulletin on Thursday afternoon.
