A total of 340 out of 841 examinees passed the recent licensure examination for agricultural engineers, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Wednesday.

Data from PRC showed that University of the Philippines-Los Baños emerged as the lone top-performing school after recording an 89.74 percent passing rate, equivalent to 35 passers out of 39 takers.

The PRC requires 20 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.

Ed Mari Cedric Cornejo of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture in Pili topped the exam with an 82.64 percent passing rate.

The exam was administered by the Board of Agricultural Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Davao, and Legazpi this August. YG/JE
