MEMBERS of the Makabayan bloc  staged a protest inside the plenary hall of the House of Representatives after President Benigno Aquino III delivered his last State of the Nation Address (Sona).

The group, composed of militant lawmakers, raised placards calling the  Aquino administration “manhid” (insensitive) and “palpak” (failure).

“Walang pagbabago sa ilalim ni Aquino,” the group said.

However, allies of Aquino inside the plenary hall cheered even louder for the President.

Aquino delivered his Sona for more than two hours.
