MANILA, Philippines – As typhoon Ruby (international name: Hagupit) heads closer to land, various local government units have already announced the suspension of classes in their respective areas.
Below is the list of provinces where classes have been suspended.

December 8 (Mon) and 9 (Tue) — All levels suspended
University of the Philippines – Los Baños, Laguna
December 6 (Saturday)
De La Salle University Science and Technology – Biñan City, Laguna
December 6 (Saturday)
REGION IV-B
Palawan
Busuanga, Coron, Culion, Palawan
Until December 8 (Mon) – Preschool to high school
