Jinggoy Estrada, Napoles arrive in court for arraignment

MANILA, Philippines – Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and detained businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles arrived at the Sandiganbayan on Monday for the arraignment of their plunder and graft charges over the pork barrel scam.

Estrada was accompanied by family members including his wife Precy, his brother Jude and sister Jackie, mother and former Senator Luisa Ejercito, and his father, former President and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.

The former president was convicted for plunder over jueteng money during the Arroyo administration but was later pardoned.
