MANILA, Philippines — Justice Secretary Leila De Lima returned to the Senate on Wednesday for her confirmation hearing at the Commission on Appointments.
De Lima first appeared before the committee on justice and judicial bar council last week but failed to get its nod.
Sandra Cam, president of the Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines, was also present.
Cam was among those who were opposing De Lima’s confirmation.
