Senior Inspector Jerry Uy, who was assigned to the police administration office in Biñan, was shot dead by two assailants on a motorcycle in Barangay Santo Domingo at 6:45 a.m.
Laguna police director Senior Superintendent Romulo Sapitula said in a telephone interview that Uy was on his way to work after dropping off his child in school when he was shot.
Sapitula said an investigation was ongoing.
