`Basyang’ makes landfall over Siargao island

MANILA, Philippines– Tropical Storm Basyang(Kajiki) made landfall over Siargao Island on Friday night.

The storm packed maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 100 kph, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in a bulletin at 7p.m.
