Zambo businessman fakes own abduction to get family’s attention

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Two persons were killed and eight others wounded in a grenade attack on the house of the head of a city district here, the military said.

Colonel Andrelino Colina, commander of Task Force Zamboanga, said a meeting was being held inside the residence of Chairman Diosterides Librero of Barangay (village) Ayala  when two grenades were lobbed at around 8:15 p.m.

Killed were Elvic Gregorio and Dita Carpio. Librero was among those wounded, Colina said.
