/ 07:13 AM July 23, 2013

For besting more than 37,000 graduates who took the June 2013 nursing licensure examinations, Mandaue resident Beverly Anne Felicio Balagon will receive P25,000 from the Cebu Provincial Board (PB).

Another Mandauehanon, Mae Amor Naingue Desabille, who placed sixth on the licensure board, will also receive a P15,000 cash incentive from the PB.

The resolution sponsored by 6th District Rep. Thadeo Ouano commended the two for “setting an example to those who have a strong desire for achievement and excelling in their aspirations.”

“The financial incentive will inspire other graduates to strive harder and to fire up their desire to be on top and claim the feat to be one of Cebu’s best,” said Ouano in the resolution.
