‘This is definitely Ondoy Part 2’—Valenzuela City mayor

MANILA, Philippines—Valenzuela City Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian said Tuesday’s rains proved to be a disaster for his constituents

“This is definitely Ondoy Part 2. This is a disaster,” Gatchalian posted in his twitter account.

In his latest tweets, Gatchalian said he was going around Valenzuela and that a lot of people were calling for rescue. He said the number of evacuees are climbing fast and preparations for red-cross rescue for Valenzuela operations were underway.

He said Mac-Arthur, Maysan Road, T. Santiago St. and Lingunan are not passable.
