Grace Bostolits arrests Mayupay’s 4-game run

GRACE Bostolits stopped the four-game win streak of league-leader Mayupay following its, 93-91 win last Sunday to even their records at 4-1 in the UBCA Camp-2012 basketball tournament.

However, based on the “winner-over-the-other” rule, Grace Bostolits is now ranked No. 1 in the standings.

The match was close from the opening tip-off until the fourth quarter with several deadlocks and lead changes until Grace Bostolits’ Tikol Hyperwage canned a crucial lay-up and Michael Malalay sank one of his two free throws for the win.

Earlier, Dorothy Grace stunned Quiot-San Roque, 97-94, for its third win in five games, while the latter dropped to 2-3 card.

In the other game, Suran routed Ricky & Carlos of Punta, 103-82.
