MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Children’s Medical Center’s (PCMC) 20-story advanced pediatric services building officially broke ground in Quezon City on Tuesday, according to House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Romualdez said the 20-story building will have a “500-bed capacity and be equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology.” He likewise assured the public, specifically the patients of PCMC of the hospital’s “continued funding in the years ahead.”
(This facility is a big help because this would help value the lives and health of children for the betterment of the country.)

Moreover, the lawmaker revealed that the facility will feature a Modern Cancer Center and subspecialty services such as infectious diseases, nephrology (kidney-related care), cardiology (heart-related care), pulmonology (respiratory system care), endocrinology (treatment for hormonal disorders), neurology (neuro-developmental pediatrics), and surgical services, as well as intensive care units for critically ill children, and rehabilitation services.
Support from Congress
(And as long as there are children fighting, Congress will continue to support them, without compensation, without conditions. Because we believe: The health of every Filipino child is not a privilege. It is a right. It must be the people’s responsibility.)
