2 minor quakes hit Masbate consecutively

LEGAZPI CITY—The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded two consecutive earthquakes in Masbate early Friday, March 7.

In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the first tremor was recorded near Pio V. Corpus town at 6:23 a.m. with a magnitude of 2.3.

Meanwhile, the second earthquake happened near Claveria town at 7:11 a.m. with a magnitude of 2.0.
