South Cemetery visitors reach 139,920

The estimated number of visitors at Manila South Cemetery climbed to 90,040 people at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, according to a tally by the Manila Police District.

Moreover, the total number of cemetery-goers on Friday reached 139,920.

According to Police Capt. Armando Licayan, operations chief of the cemetery’s advance command post for this “Undas” season, officers were stationed at entrances with clickers to manually count the inflow and outflow of visitors. —JASON SIGALES
