LIST: Class suspensions on Thursday, September 5

At least three cities and five municipalities in Eastern Visayas have cancelled classes on Friday, Feb. 21, due to continuous heavy rains

MANILA, Philippines — Classes are suspended in several parts of the country on Thursday, September 5 due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Yagi (formerly known as Enteng).

The areas that suspended classes on Thursday, September 5 are:

Enteng intensified into a typhoon category on Wednesday afternoon after exiting the Philippine area of responsibility on Wednesday morning.

It will continue to affect Northern Luzon while the southwest monsoon, or habagat, will persist in Central and Southern Luzon.
