MANILA, Philippines – A drunk man died after a bus hit him along Maharlika Highway in San Pablo, Laguna, last June 11, according to police.

Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) reported on Thursday that a bus driver, identified as alias “Rogel,” was driving on the southbound lane of the highway when he reportedly hit victim Larry Flores Zuniga.

The victim was reportedly crossing the road when the incident occurred.

After the crash, Laguna PPO disclosed that Zuniga sustained a severe head injury and was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
