MMDA: Roadworks on Tuesday evening in C-5 – Ortigas area

MMDA lits number coding scheme on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will lift its number coding scheme on April 17 and 18, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, respectively.

MANILA, Philippines — Road works  will be carried out by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the C-5 – Ortigas area by Tuesday evening, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

The MMDA said that the removal of existing asphalt, asphalt overlay, and excavation along the sidewalk will be conducted from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following areas “until all scope of works is done”:

  • C-5 Ortigas Flyover northbound/southbound
  • C-5 Ortigas Flyover (westbound)
  • C-5 Ortigas Interchange Flyover to Tiendesitas
  • Ortigas Avenue before bridge approach (eastbound)
  • C-5 Road northbound near Gap 1
  • Manila East Road (westbound) near Jollibee corner Amang
  • Edsa Ortigas Interchange to San Juan
  • Edsa Shaw Flyover (westbound) near Approach A

 Affected motorists were advised to rake alternate routes.
