Marcos reappoints 2 Customs officials

President Marcos has reappointed two officials to key posts in the Bureau of Customs (BOC). Reappointed on Tuesday were Teddy Sandy Raval as deputy commissioner and Vincent Philip Maronilla as assistant commissioner of the BOC, an attached agency of the Department of Finance. As deputy commissioner, Raval led the BOC’s enforcement group under the Marcos administration. He was also deputy commissioner for the intelligence group under former President Rodrigo Duterte. Maronilla, on the other hand, also served as the spokesperson for the BOC. —Julie M. Aurelio
