Palace announces 23 new appointments

Malacañang on Wednesday disclosed 23 more new presidential appointees, including Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Charles Jose who has been named Department of Foreign Affairs undersecretary.

Others appointed were Maridur Rosario as Bureau of Internal Revenue deputy commissioner, Nerie Bueno as assistant secretary at the public works department, Manuel Feliciano as member of the board of directors of the Clark Development Corp. and Francis Fajardo as executive director of the Emergency 911 National Office under the interior department.

Also appointed were several director and director-level officials, foreign service officers, and regional and provincial officials at the agrarian reform, environment, foreign affairs, human settlements and trade departments. —JEROME ANING
