MANILA, Philippines — Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac was named Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) officer-in-charge, the Presidential Communications Office announced on Wednesday.
Cacdac’s appointment was made two weeks after the death of then secretary Susan “Toots” Ople.
Malacanang also announced the appointment of Jennifer Pia Las as the new chairperson of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s National Commission on Indigenous Peoples
Jose Lim IV was also named Department of Transportation assistant secretary.
