President Marcos has appointed lawyer Vigor Mendoza II as head of the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Presidential Communications Office announced on Wednesday. Mendoza, who previously served as board member of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, replaced officer in charge Hector Villacorta. Mendoza was a former party list representative of the United Transport Alliance Koalisyon. —NESTOR CORRALES
