MANILA, Philippines – Local government units have suspended classes in several areas on Friday, October 28, due to inclement weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Paeng.
The list of suspended classes are as follows:

- Camarines Norte
- Camarines Sur
- Capiz
- Cebu Province Argao Asturias Compostela Consolacion Liloan Mandaue City Minglanilla Pinamungajan
- Metro Manila Marikina City Pasig City
- Negros Occidental Bacolod City Victorias City
- Northern Samar
- Samar Catbalogan City Pagsanghan
- Sorsogon
- Romblon Alcantara Cajidiocan Calatrava Corcuera Municipality of Romblon Odiongan San Agustin San Fernando San Jose Santa Fe
SELECT LEVELS
- Cebu Province – Talisay City (Preschool to senior high school)
- Metro Manila – Caloocan City (Preschool to senior high school) – City of Manila (Preschool to senior high school)
- Laguna (Preschool to senior high school)
- Samar – Gandara (Preschool to senior high school)
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, Signal no. 2 is hoisted in Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, eastern portion of Camarines Sur, Northern Samar and the northern portion of Eastern Samar, while 17 other areas are under Signal No. 1.
