MANILA, Philippines – Police authorities have captured the most wanted person in Cebu, Philippine National Police Chief Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. confirmed.
Cebu police officials arrested the suspect in a joint operation on Thursday morning in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, according to a press release issued on Saturday.
“I congratulate our operating unit for another positive intelligence-driven operation and implementation of a warrant of arrest against a wanted person,” said Azurin.
The 21-year-old Rhomel Dano Estoquia was arrested on charges of sexual assault, with the recommended bail of P200,000. His warrant was issued by Judge Stephen Ian T. Belacho.
Estoquia is currently in the custody of Cebu City Police for documentation.
