LEGAZPI CITY — A 52-year-old farmer was shot and killed in Donsol, Sorsogon on Tuesday night, according to the local police.
Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol regional police spokesperson, said in a report that Mario Jazo was inside his residence in Barangay (village) Tupaz when two men barged in and shot him several times at around 7:30 p.m.
Jazo died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds while the suspects fled after the shooting.
Further investigation and pursuit operations against the perpetrators are ongoing.
