MANILA, Philippines — Fuel prices are expected to go down for the second week, according to the forecast of local oil firm Unioil.

According to Unioil, diesel prices may decrease by P0.20 to P0.30 per liter next week.

Meanwhile, gasoline prices may go down by P0.90 to P1 per liter.

Motorists were advised to load up accordingly.

The slight rollback follows the minimal decrease in oil prices last week after US President Joe Biden announced the release of oil from the country’s strategic petroleum reserve.
