Leni-Kiko campaign kick-off gains support in Mindoro

Leni-Kiko tandem kicks off campaign in Camarines Sur

CITY OF CALAPAN – Supporters of Vice President and presidential candidate Leni Robredo and vice-presidential bet Senator Kiko Pangilinan expressed their support to the tandem as the first day of the campaign period started Tuesday, Feb. 8.

The Leni-Kiko supporters from different sectors and professions joined a nationwide noon noise barrage. The tandem is in Camarines Sur for a grand caravan and proclamation rally in Naga City.

Supporters include the fisherfolk of Gem-ver that was hit by a Chinese vessel and abandoned at the West Philippine Sea in June 2019. Robredo was among those who immediately extended assistance to the fishers and their families.

A human chain of lights parade (Tanglaw sa Magandang Bukas) will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. along J.P. Rizal Street to this city’s seaport.

In San Jose town, Occidental Mindoro province, supporters joined the kick-off at 4:30 p.m. at Tamaraw Fountain in Aroma Beach.
