Tarlac reports zero new COVID-19 cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Tarlac registered zero new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, November 27, the provincial government said in its latest bulletin.

Not a single new case was registered in the capital Tarlac City and in the 17 towns of the province as active cases stood at 109.

On Thursday, November 25, Tarlac also registered zero new COVID-19 cases.

The towns of Pura and Ramos are currently free of COVID-19 while Anao and San Clemente have a single case each.

Tarlac City has the most active cases at 28, followed by Capas with 19, and Paniqui with 13.

Residents of Tarlac have expressed gladness over the significant drop in COVID-19 cases in the province.

“Let us continue wearing face masks and be not complacent, especially if there is another new variant.

Keep safe Tarlaqueños,” a resident commented on Tarlac’s social media post.

Since the pandemic broke out last year, the provincial government recorded a total of 18,854 COVID-19 cases, of which 17,911 were recoveries while 834 were deaths.
