ORMOC CITY—The backrider of a motorcycle driven by a minor died after a collision Tuesday with another motorcycle along the national highway in Barangay Olotan, Jaro town, Leyte.

Rodolfo Albarido, 64, a farmer, died while being treated in a hospital, said Major Ryan Delima of the Jaro Police Station.

Reymart Sisbas, 16, the driver of the motorcycle, survived.

Staff Sergeant Mark Meridor, the investigator, said the victims were brought to the Carigara District Hospital for immediate medical intervention, but Albarido succumbed to wounds on his body.
