MABALACAT CITY—A local radio broadcaster is running as an independent candidate for mayor in this northern Pampanga city in the May 9, 2022 elections.
Diosdado “Deng” Pangilinan, 56, filed on Monday, Oct. 4, his certificate of candidacy against incumbent Mayor Cris Garbo, who is seeking a second term.
Pangilinan has no running mate or a slate of councilors.
He said his seven-point agenda promises to improve the living conditions of the people. INQ
