OCTA: 3 Central Luzon provinces among areas with highest new COVID-19 cases

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Three provinces in Central Luzon were among the areas with the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the country.

Data from OCTA Research showed Thursday that Bulacan, Pampanga, and Bataan were on the list of top 20 provinces with the highest number of new cases.

Bulacan, ranked 9th, had the highest new cases in the region after posting 373 infections on Thursday.

The 10th was Pampanga, which posted 356 cases. Bataan was ranked 13th with 328.

Central Luzon remains the third among the regions in the country that has the most number of new COVID-19 cases in the previous day. The list was topped by the National Capital Region, followed by Calabarzon.
